September 2021 – Problems, Problems, and More Problems
Q. Do you know why mathematics books like Functions, Algebra and Calculus are sad?
A. Because they are full of problems.
Most math books had the answers in the back. The trick was to figure out how to get the answer using the proper equations.
Remember the dilemma of figuring out what part of an equation did you do first?
- the formula as you read from left to right
- the order of calculating the addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- what was inside the parentheses ()
- figuring out product of the exponential numbers
- ad infinitum…
